Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Envestor (“Envestor,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of the Envestor application and website (the “Service”). By creating an account, checking the acceptance box, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not financial or investment advice

Envestor is a calculation and modeling tool. All outputs, estimates, projections, and reports are provided for informational purposes only and are based on the inputs you provide and assumptions built into the Service. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal, or real-estate advice, and are not a guarantee of any outcome, return, or property value. You are solely responsible for verifying all figures and for your own investment decisions. Envestor is not a broker, lender, financial advisor, or fiduciary. Consult qualified professionals before making any purchase or investment.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions & billing

A free account includes one property analysis and one investor report. Continued use is offered on a subscription basis at $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions are charged at signup and renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled in accordance with Section 5. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars.

5. Cancellation policy

Monthly plans. Monthly subscriptions require sixty (60) days’ notice to cancel. When you submit a cancellation request, your subscription will remain active and continue to bill for a 60-day notice period, after which it will end and will not renew. You retain access to the Service through the end of that notice period.

Annual plans. If you are on an annual plan and have paid in full, you may cancel at any time. Your subscription will not renew, and you will retain full access to the Service until your current renewal date. Annual plans paid in full are not eligible for a prorated or partial refund.

Except as expressly stated here or as required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by reverse-engineering it, reselling access, scraping, overburdening our systems, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

Envestor and its software, branding, and content are owned by us and protected by law. The data and property scenarios you enter remain yours; you grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Envestor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or investment losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time, subject to the cancellation policy in Section 5.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
